The first Placrylic Art Fair will be held Nov. 16, 2022, at York’s Middlethorpe Hall. Following The National Trust’s Placryl-based art installation in spring 2022, collectors and industry leaders will gather to view 40 new historic paintings created with Placryl, a sustainable plant-based medium for artists invented by English painter and chemist hana. In keeping with the art fair’s theme of Migration, the artists used a limited palette of placrylic colors. The world’s only sustainable art gallery owner and well-known journalists actively campaigning for a sustainable future will speak as special guests at the fair.
