The Summer of Wechel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The second half of August is again art summer at the Hof d’Intere in Wechelderzande. Works of art by fifteen artists, beautifully fitting into the surroundings both inside the castle, and in the park.Enjoying the summer in Wechelderzande and at the same time further filling your cultural backpack, that’s all it takes …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featuring professional and semi-professional artists from a variety of disciplines, including sculpture, photography, printmaking, installations, mixed media, painting, …<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Summer of Wechel was first established in 2002, and is organized in collaboration with the municipality of Lille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hof d’Intere<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Philip the Good gave Wechelderzande on March 13, 1440, along with Gierle and Lille, in fief to Ambrosius de Dynter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hof d’Intere building was erected in 1649 by the lord of Wechelderzande, Jonker Jan de Proost ‘lord of Dynter’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sparkling<\/a>. is a visualisation of an existing sculpture, playfully mixing the powerful shapes and still keep their strength. This is only possible with a powerful Sculpture.<\/p>\n\n

Bull versus Bull, Horse versus Horse, Dance versus Dance. <\/p>\n\n

It’s a delightful re-breathing, a fresh response to existing action. Each image is unique and the Sparkling’s are in limited edition.<\/p>\n\n

Le 17 F\u00e9vrier 2021 a eu lieu le II \u00e8me concours num\u00e9rique artistique en distanciel, avec Jury en d\u00e9lib\u00e9rations connect\u00e9es.
